Cheesy Taco Sticks (Version imprimable)

Golden buttery sticks loaded with spiced beef and melting cheese, brushed with garlic butter, and baked crispy. Great with salsa or sour cream on the side.

# Composition:

→ Stuffing

01 - 1 packet of taco spice mix
02 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean
03 - 5 cheese sticks (Colby jack, halved)

→ Crust

04 - 1 tube of Pillsbury pizza dough, refrigerated

→ Butter Coating

05 - ¼ cup melted butter
06 - 1 teaspoon parsley, dried
07 - 1 teaspoon powdered garlic

01 - Turn the oven on to 425°F and coat the baking sheet with spray to keep things from sticking.
02 - Cook the beef until browned, drain the grease, stir in taco spice, and let it cool off.
03 - Slice the pizza dough lengthwise to make 2 long strips, then cut each into 5 smaller pieces for 10.
04 - Spoon cooled meat and place half of a cheese stick into the center of a dough rectangle.
05 - Fold the dough over the meat and cheese, pinching the edges to seal the breadstick.
06 - Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley, then paint it onto the breadsticks with a brush.
07 - Bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the outside turns golden. Serve while warm.
