Cheesy Taco Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Stuffing

01 - 1 packet of taco spice mix
02 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean
03 - 5 cheese sticks (Colby jack, halved)

→ Crust

04 - 1 tube of Pillsbury pizza dough, refrigerated

→ Butter Coating

05 - ¼ cup melted butter
06 - 1 teaspoon parsley, dried
07 - 1 teaspoon powdered garlic

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 425°F and coat the baking sheet with spray to keep things from sticking.
02 - Cook the beef until browned, drain the grease, stir in taco spice, and let it cool off.
03 - Slice the pizza dough lengthwise to make 2 long strips, then cut each into 5 smaller pieces for 10.
04 - Spoon cooled meat and place half of a cheese stick into the center of a dough rectangle.
05 - Fold the dough over the meat and cheese, pinching the edges to seal the breadstick.
06 - Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley, then paint it onto the breadsticks with a brush.
07 - Bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the outside turns golden. Serve while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Try pairing them with guacamole, sour cream, or salsa for dipping.
02 - Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick after-school treat.
03 - Letting the meat cool down helps avoid soggy dough.
