Parmesan Creamy Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets, no skin.
02 - 2 tsp of garlic powder.
03 - 2 tbsp of olive oil.
04 - 1 tsp of table salt.
05 - 2 tsp of mixed Italian herbs.
06 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano.
07 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.
08 - A pinch of red chili flakes (1/2 tsp).
09 - 3 tbsp butter, unsalted.
10 - 2 tbsp sweet basil, chopped.
11 - 1 tbsp parsley, minced.
12 - 1/2 cup chicken stock.
13 - 1 cup rich cream (heavy cream).
14 - 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
15 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan.
16 - 1/2 tbsp finely minced garlic.
17 - 2 tbsp softened cream cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Brush the salmon with oil and sprinkle on the seasonings: Italian blend, garlic, salt, oregano, and both types of pepper.
02 - Sear the seasoned sides in a preheated, oiled skillet. Keep it hot and cook for about three minutes each side until browned, then use a lower heat to finish it off.
03 - Using the same pan, melt some butter and sauté the garlic. Stir in broth, cream, and lemon and let it cook gently for a couple minutes.
04 - Whisk in your cream cheese, then the parmesan, and stir until the sauce thickens. Add a little more salt or pepper if needed.
05 - Mix in the herbs, then lay the cooked salmon back in. Warm it up with the sauce before plating.

# Notes:

01 - You can throw in some onions if you'd like to tweak the sauce.
02 - Want it cheesier? Just toss in more parmesan.
