01 - 1 teaspoon salt

03 - 1 cup brown sugar
04 - 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
05 - 9 ounces oyster crackers (1 package)
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F to warm up. Cover a baking sheet with parchment and scatter the crackers evenly across it.
02 - Start by melting butter in a saucepan. Mix in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir well until the sugar dissolves. Let it boil for a few minutes until it starts thickening.
03 - Drizzle the warm caramel mix over the crackers, trying to coat them all. Add a sprinkle of salt to finish.
04 - Put the tray in the oven and bake for about 7-9 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
05 - Let everything cool down all the way. Break it into chunks and store in something airtight.
