# Composition:

→ Meat and Vegetables

01 - 450 grams lean ground beef
02 - 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
03 - 60 grams green pepper, chopped

→ Sauces and Seasonings

04 - 160 milliliters ketchup
05 - 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon ground mustard
07 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper

→ Sandwich Assembly

09 - 8 slices Texas toast or thick-sliced white bread
10 - 115 grams cheddar cheese, shredded
11 - 56 grams unsalted butter

# Étapes de réalisation:

01 - Add ground beef to a nonstick pan over medium heat. Break apart with a wooden spoon and cook until mostly browned. Incorporate chopped onions and green peppers, continuing to cook until beef is fully cooked and vegetables are softened.
02 - Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir thoroughly to blend. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
03 - Place one slice of bread on a work surface. Spread 28 grams (approximately 1/4 cup) shredded cheddar cheese on top. Spoon an even layer of the prepared sloppy joe mixture over the cheese. Cap with a second bread slice to form a sandwich. Repeat for remaining servings.
04 - Heat a griddle or large nonstick pan over medium heat. Melt 7 grams (0.5 tablespoon) butter, position a sandwich in the pan, and grill until the underside is golden brown. Lift with a spatula, place another 7 grams butter in the pan, flip sandwich, and cook until the opposite side is golden and cheese has melted. Continue with all remaining sandwiches.

# Détails supplémentaires:

01 - For best results, use thick-sliced bread to support the filling and prevent sogginess.
