Seafood Bisque Crab Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Seafood Essentials

01 - 8 ounces large cooked shrimp, diced into chunks
02 - 8 ounces fresh crab meat, ensure there are no shell bits

→ Creamy Base

03 - ⅓ cup finely diced celery for crunch
04 - 2 cups whole milk, creamy and fresh
05 - ⅓ cup chopped fresh green onions
06 - 1 ½ cups heavy cream, thick and rich
07 - 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour to thicken
08 - 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
09 - 1 tablespoon rich tomato paste, double-concentration

→ Flavor & Toppings

10 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped for a pop of color
11 - A sprinkle of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 - 1 teaspoon Old Bay Spice for that unforgettable taste

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter over medium heat in a sturdy pan. Toss in celery and onions, stirring until soft and smelling divine, but don't let them brown.
02 - Dust your veggies with flour and stir non-stop for about a minute. Heat milk separately so it's warm and ready to go.
03 - Slowly pour the warm milk while whisking like mad to avoid any lumps. Add in tomato paste, whipping cream, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
04 - Reduce heat and let the mixture gently bubble until it's thick enough to coat your spoon nicely.
05 - Carefully add shrimp first, then mix in the crab. Warm everything through and sprinkle parsley on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Pairs perfectly as a starter or a lighter main meal.
02 - Using freshly caught seafood will take this dish up a notch.
