02 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
03 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt.
05 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
06 - Orange zest, about 1 tablespoon.
07 - 2/3 cup fresh orange juice.
08 - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
09 - 1 large shallot, chopped (1/3 cup).
10 - 1 cup chicken broth.
11 - 1 1/2 tablespoons honey.
12 - 1/2 orange, sliced thinly.
13 - 1 cup cranberries plus 2 tablespoons for decorating.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken.
02 - In a hot skillet with olive oil, brown the chicken 4-5 minutes each side until it’s golden. Set it aside on a plate.
03 - Sauté garlic and shallots for 4-5 minutes. Mix in broth, juice, cranberries, honey, and vinegar. Let it bubble for 8-10 minutes to thicken.
04 - Nestle the chicken back into the pan with the cranberries and orange slices. Bake 15-20 minutes until the chicken hits 165°F.

# Notes:

01 - A skillet that can go in the oven is key.
02 - Fresh cranberries give better results.
03 - Feel free to use maple syrup instead of honey.
