Hearty Breakfast Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounces of frozen hashbrowns, thawed
02 - 1 pound of bulk sausage (pork or turkey)
03 - 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar
04 - 6 large eggs
05 - 1/2 cup of milk or heavy cream
06 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on the oven to 350°F and lightly oil an 8x8 or 7x11 baking dish.
02 - Cook sausage over medium heat, stirring to break it up, until browned. Drain any extra grease.
03 - Combine eggs, milk, pepper, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
04 - Spread hashbrowns, followed by sausage, then cheese in the dish. Pour egg mixture all over.
05 - Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until eggs are firm and the top is golden. Let it sit 5-10 minutes before serving.

01 - You can make it ahead of time and chill overnight.
