Cheesy Garlic Knots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
02 - 1 pound of pizza dough, homemade or store-bought

→ Garlic Butter

03 - 1 teaspoon of salt
04 - 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped fresh
05 - 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
06 - 1/2 cup melted, unsalted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 400°F (200°C). Get a baking sheet and cover it with some parchment paper.
02 - Cut the pizza dough into 12 even portions. Shape each one into a flat rectangle.
03 - Spoon a little shredded mozzarella into the center of each dough piece. Fold them over the cheese and pinch them shut to make knots.
04 - Stir together the melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small mixing bowl.
05 - Lay the knots on your prepared sheet. Generously coat each one with the garlic butter. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden and the cheese melts.
06 - Pull the knots out of the oven and give them another brush of garlic butter if you like. Serve them hot with marinara sauce to dip.

# Notes:

01 - Seal the dough well to keep the cheese from leaking out.
02 - For a shinier look, use an egg wash before baking.
03 - Let the knots sit briefly after baking so the cheese sets up a bit.
