Garlic Herb Oil Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Golden Garlic Base

01 - 3 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped into small bits
02 - 2 tablespoons high-quality olive oil

→ Fresh Herb Mix

03 - 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated super fine
04 - 1 tablespoon rosemary, finely chopped
05 - 2 tablespoons basil leaves, chopped small
06 - ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (use a really good one)

→ Seasonings

07 - ½ teaspoon red chili flakes (skip if you’re not into spicy)
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
09 - ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
10 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional but gives a nice pop)
11 - ¼ teaspoon sea salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oil in a small pan on medium. Stir in your garlic once the oil is hot, cooking till it browns just at the edges. Don’t walk away—garlic burns fast! Take it off the heat as soon as it’s ready.
02 - Use a shallow plate or bowl, whatever you have handy. Stir together your Parmesan, basil, rosemary, red flakes (if you're into spice), salt, pepper, and the Italian seasoning.
03 - Pour the olive oil over the herb mix and toss in your golden garlic. Stir everything well, and if you’re feeling fancy, add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar at the end.
04 - Pair it with crusty bread, pizza crust, or pita, and let it sit a few minutes before eating so the flavors can settle in.

# Notes:

01 - Letting the mixture rest makes it taste even better as the flavors mix.
02 - You can keep leftovers in the fridge for up to a week. Just bring them back to room temperature before you dig in.
