Garlic Cheddar Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
02 - 1 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
04 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder.
05 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
06 - 1 tablespoon sugar.
07 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
08 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled.
09 - 2 large eggs.
10 - 1 1/3 cups buttermilk.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
02 - Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Mix in 2 cups of cheese.
03 - Whisk eggs, butter, and buttermilk until smooth.
04 - Stir the wet mix into the dry blend gently, just enough to bring it together. Transfer the mix to your pan.
05 - Sprinkle the last bit of cheese over the top. Use foil to cover it. Bake it for 30 minutes, then go foil-free and bake another 20 minutes.
06 - Keep it in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift it out to cool on a rack.

# Notes:

01 - Stir batter gently to avoid overmixing.
02 - Cover helps stop cheese from burning too fast.
