French Toast Croissants (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 croissants sliced open lengthwise
02 - 5 eggs, large
03 - 1 cup of half-and-half cream
04 - 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
05 - 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
06 - Zest from one orange
07 - 2 tbsp of maple syrup
08 - 1/4 tsp kosher salt
09 - 1 tbsp Grand Marnier (you can skip this)
10 - Powdered sugar to sprinkle on top
11 - Fresh berries to serve with it
12 - Whipped cream as an optional topping
13 - Extra maple syrup on the side

# Instructions:

01 - Butter or grease a 13x9 pan well
02 - Combine eggs, salt, maple syrup, orange zest, Grand Marnier, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon in a large bowl and whisk together
03 - Coat each croissant half in the custard mix until well absorbed. Line them evenly in the dish
04 - Wrap and keep in the fridge for up to a day
05 - Let it sit out 30 minutes. Bake at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes. It should look golden and set

01 - You can put it together the night before
02 - Skip the Grand Marnier if you want
03 - Use any toppings you like
