French Toast Air Fryer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 6 slices of bread (slightly dried-out works great), chopped into small cubes

→ Custard Mixture

02 - 3 large eggs, room temperature is best
03 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
05 - 1/4 cup milk
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla (go for pure if you can)
07 - 1/4 cup brown sugar for a rich sweetness

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big mixing bowl and whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt together until it’s smooth and combined.
02 - Slice your bread into tiny cubes and gently fold them into the custard. Every piece should be soaked - no dry spots left behind.
03 - Spray your air fryer basket lightly with non-stick spray. Spread the coated bread cubes in a flat layer without crowding them.
04 - Set your air fryer to 350°F and let the bread cook for about 8 to 10 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through so it cooks evenly. You’ll know they’re ready when they’re golden and crunchy on the outside but still soft inside.
05 - Enjoy your warm French toast bites fresh from the fryer with any toppings you love. Try some powdered sugar, maple syrup, or fresh fruit to make it extra special.

# Notes:

01 - Using slightly dried-out bread helps it soak up the custard without going mushy.
02 - Cook in smaller batches to get every piece perfectly crispy. Overcrowding won’t let them crisp up evenly.
