Easy Toast Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Cubed French bread, about half a loaf (8 ounces).
02 - 1/2 cup of melted butter.
03 - Packed brown sugar, 1 cup.
04 - 6 eggs, large.
05 - 2 cups whole milk.
06 - Vanilla extract, 2 teaspoons.
07 - Cinnamon, divided (2 teaspoons total).
08 - Extra brown sugar for topping, 1 tablespoon.
09 - Optional: powdered sugar for decorating.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F. Use butter to coat a 13x9-inch pan.
02 - Gently heat butter and brown sugar in a small pot until mixed and smooth. Pour it into your greased pan.
03 - Scatter the bread cubes over the buttery sugar mix in the pan.
04 - Mix together eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl. Pour this mixture evenly over the bread, making sure all pieces soak it up.
05 - Dust with the remaining cinnamon and sprinkle on the additional brown sugar.
06 - Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving, if you'd like.
