Date Snickers Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Soft, fresh Medjool dates, large size
02 - Smooth peanut butter, or any nut butter you like
03 - Unsalted roasted peanuts, or another type of nut
04 - Dark chocolate chips or a good quality chocolate bar
05 - Flaky sea salt to top it off

# Instructions:

01 - Find the seam on each date. Slice along it to make an opening, but don't cut it all the way through.
02 - Lay out a plate covered with parchment paper that can go in the freezer. Carefully open the dates, making little pockets for the filling.
03 - Fill the cavities with your creamy nut butter. Add a few peanuts and gently close them up. Freeze until firm.
04 - As the dates chill, melt the chocolate until it's nice and smooth. Let it cool just a little so it coats better.
05 - Take the dates out of the freezer. Dip each one completely in the melted chocolate, using two spoons to make it easier.
06 - Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle flaky salt on top. Freeze again until the chocolate is fully hardened.

01 - Keep them stored in a tightly sealed container in the freezer.
