Creamy Chicken Crockpot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken basics

01 - 1/4 cup butter, softened to room temp
02 - 0.6 oz packet of dry Italian seasoning mix (Good Seasons is a great option)
03 - 4 oz cream cheese, also softened
04 - 10.5 oz canned cream of chicken soup, not diluted
05 - 3 garlic cloves, whole or chopped up
06 - 3/4 cup chicken broth
07 - 1.5 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breast

→ What to serve it with

08 - 1 lb of angel hair pasta, cooked following the box instructions

# Instructions:

01 - Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray or pop in a liner to make cleanup easier later.
02 - Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle or add the garlic on top.
03 - Microwave the cream cheese and butter until they’re melted, then whisk them together. Stir in the dry Italian seasoning, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup until it’s smooth.
04 - Pour the creamy mix over the chicken. Cover with the lid and let it cook for 6 to 8 hours on low heat, until the chicken is super soft.
05 - With about 30 minutes left, use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker. Let it simmer for the remaining time to soak in the flavors.
06 - While the chicken finishes cooking, make the pasta according to the directions on the box. Serve the pasta topped with the chicken and creamy sauce.

# Notes:

01 - This dish is a breeze! Just spend 5 minutes getting it all set up, and let your slow cooker handle the rest.
02 - Angel hair pasta is great, but you can swap it out for rice, mashed potatoes, or even biscuits for something different.
03 - Dry Italian dressing mix is a must—don’t swap it for pre-made dressing or you’ll miss out on the classic taste.
