Pour the warm milk, sugar, and yeast into a big bowl. Set it aside for 5–10 minutes till it gets bubbly. Next, stir in the butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Slowly add in the flour a little at a time until the dough feels soft.

Work the dough by hand on a lightly floured surface for about 8–10 minutes, until it feels smooth and stretchy. Put it in a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it sit somewhere warm for 1–2 hours so it rises and doubles its size.

Flatten dough into a rectangle (around 1/4-inch thickness). Spread over it some melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix evenly. Roll it up tightly into a log shape and cut it into 12 even pieces.

Arrange the rolls in a buttered baking dish. Cover them up and leave them to rise again for about 30–45 minutes. Pop them into a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden. Brush them with melted butter as soon as they come out.
