02 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil
03 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
04 - 1/2 cup softened butter (unsalted)
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1 1/2 cups plain flour
08 - 1 teaspoon leavening powder
09 - 1/2 cup tangy buttermilk

→ Cinnamon Blend

10 - 2 tablespoons sugar (brown)
11 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
12 - 1/2 teaspoon sticky molasses

→ Sweet Coating

13 - 1/4 cup sugar (granulated)
14 - 1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted, 1 stick)
15 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
16 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab a 9x5 pan and grease it up. In a mixing bowl, stir together the baking powder, flour, and salt until blended.
02 - Cream the butter, oil, and sugar with a mixer till smooth and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add an egg at a time and beat well, then pour in the vanilla. Gradually alternate adding the dry mix and buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry.
03 - Take 3/4 cup of your batter and move it to another bowl. Add cinnamon, molasses, and brown sugar, then mix till it’s all blended together.
04 - Pour a layer of the plain batter in the greased pan. Add spoonfuls of the cinnamon batter, then swirl. Repeat this with the rest of both batters.
05 - Place the loaf in your oven and bake for 45-50 minutes. Check with a toothpick—it’s ready when it comes out mostly clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
06 - Melt some butter in a dish. Mix cinnamon and sugars in another. Dunk the cooled loaf in the butter, then coat it in the sugar-cinnamon blend. Allow it to cool fully before slicing.
