Chocolate Coconut Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons of shortening.
02 - 2 cups of dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips.
03 - 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
04 - 1 3/4 cups of powdered sugar.
05 - 1 3/4 cups of shredded coconut.

# Instructions:

01 - In a big bowl, mix up the coconut, condensed milk, and powdered sugar.
02 - Roll the mixture into small 1-inch balls. Use a pan covered with wax paper and chill 'em until solid.
03 - Microwave chocolate chips and shortening, stirring now and then, until it’s nice and smooth.
04 - Coat the chilled balls in the melted chocolate. Let any extra chocolate drip off, then set them on wax paper.
05 - Store the finished candies in the fridge to keep them fresh.
