Spiced Chewy Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon ground ginger.
02 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
04 - 1 cup unsalted butter, melted.
05 - 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
07 - 2 large eggs, room temperature.
08 - Confectioners' sugar for dusting.
09 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
10 - 2 tablespoons molasses.
11 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven nice and hot—set it to 350°F. Use parchment paper to line a 9x9 pan.
02 - Stir melted butter and brown sugar till smooth, then add molasses, eggs, and a splash of vanilla.
03 - Take your flour, spices, salt, and baking powder, then give them a good whisk together.
04 - Slowly add the dry mix into the wet ingredients. Blend it all until it’s even.
05 - Pour the batter into your pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, checking that the edges are firm and the center doesn’t jiggle.
06 - Let it cool down completely. Once chilled, dust with powdered sugar and slice it up.

# Notes:

01 - Works for a 9x13 pan too, but adjust the bake time.
02 - To keep it soft, don’t overbake.
03 - Wait till it’s fully cooled before cutting.
