Cheesy Potato Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 1 block cheddar cheese, sliced into thin sticks
02 - ¼ cup green onion, chopped small
03 - ½ cup sour cream
04 - ¼ cup bacon, minced
05 - 3 large russet potatoes, boiled and diced

→ Coating

06 - 1 teaspoon salt
07 - Egg for dipping
08 - Flour to coat
09 - 100g panko crumbs
10 - ⅔ cup cornstarch
11 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

→ Frying

12 - 1 litre of vegetable oil, peanut oil, or canola oil

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the cooked potatoes, chopped onions, bacon, sour cream, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth with a few chunks.
02 - Surround each cheese stick with the potato mixture, making sure no cheese is exposed.
03 - Cover in flour, dip in egg, and roll through the cornstarch and panko blend.
04 - Fry at 350°F for about 3 minutes until crispy and golden; or bake at 400°F for 15 minutes until nicely browned.
