Cheesy Pesto Garlic Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 loaf of crusty Italian bread or baguette

→ Spread

02 - 1/2 cup pesto sauce
03 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
04 - 1/2 cup room-temperature butter, unsalted

→ Toppings

05 - A handful of fresh basil, chopped
06 - 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
07 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
08 - Pinches of salt and pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 375°F. Halve the bread lengthwise.
02 - Smear with butter and follow with pesto. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
03 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or till bubbly. For a crispy finish, broil an extra 1-2 minutes.
04 - Scatter fresh basil over the top. Slice it up and enjoy it warm.
