Butter Herb Spread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 tsp (0.6g) paprika
02 - 1 tbsp roughly chopped parsley
03 - 2 tsp freshly minced garlic
04 - 1 tsp lemon juice
05 - 1 tbsp strong Dijon mustard
06 - 2 tsp thyme, finely chopped
07 - 1/8 tsp black pepper
08 - 1/4 tsp kosher salt
09 - 1/2 cup (113g) softened unsalted butter
10 - 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
11 - 1/8 tsp cayenne powder
12 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the butter together with the spices and fresh herbs until smooth and fully blended.
02 - Wrap the mixture in plastic film, form into a roll, and refrigerate until firm—this takes about 2 hours.
03 - Microwave in short 20-second bursts, stirring in between, until melted completely.
04 - Seal and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

# Notes:

01 - Works great spread on bread or used as a dip.
02 - Yields a total of about 2/3 cup.
03 - You can also process this in a food processor.
