Turn on the oven to 350°F. Coat a baking dish or sheet with nonstick spray, or spread foil down to make cleaning easy.

Dry off the sausages using paper towels, then take one piece of bacon and wrap it tightly around each sausage. Keep it in place with a toothpick.

Pour the brown sugar into a large zip-top bag. Add a few bacon-wrapped sausages at a time, close the bag, and shake it until they're all coated. Put them on the dish you prepared earlier.

Sprinkle the sugar-coated sausages with the grated black pepper, as much as you prefer.

Pop the sausages in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the bacon turns golden. If you like it crispier, turn on the broiler for a few extra minutes to get the texture you want.
