Bacon Cheese Loaded Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Chopped green onions (4 stalks)
02 - Half a pound of cooked, crumbled bacon
03 - One 32-ounce bag of frozen fries
04 - 1/4 cup sour cream

→ Cheese Sauce

05 - Two tablespoons of all-purpose flour
06 - Shredded cheddar cheese (1 1/2 cups, about 6 ounces)
07 - Milk (1 cup)
08 - Butter (2 tablespoons)
09 - A pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the instructions on the bag to bake the frozen fries.
02 - In a small pot, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and let it cook for about a minute.
03 - Gradually pour the milk into the roux while stirring. Keep cooking until it thickens (about 5 mins). Take it off the stove, mix in the cheese until it’s melted, and season with salt and pepper.
04 - Pour the cheese sauce over the fries while hot. Sprinkle on bacon bits, drizzle with sour cream, and add a handful of chopped green onions on top.

# Notes:

01 - Pick a cheese that melts easily for smoother results.
02 - Pre-made cheese sauce works if you’re in a hurry.
03 - Tastes best when eaten right away while warm.
04 - Great for hosting or during sports events.
