01 -
Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 23x13-centimeter loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
02 -
Combine light brown sugar with ground cinnamon in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, toss chopped apples with 25 grams granulated sugar and set aside.
03 -
In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter with 150 grams granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
04 -
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
05 -
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with 130 milliliters milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
06 -
Spread half of the batter evenly in the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Layer with half of the apples. Repeat with remaining batter, cinnamon sugar, and apples.
07 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
08 -
Allow bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Whisk powdered sugar with 15-45 milliliters milk until smooth and suitable for drizzling. Drizzle glaze over the cooled bread.
09 -
Slice and serve as a sweet snack or dessert.
